The Zarephath Health Center represents an example of faith in action. It provides a venue for professionals and other volunteers to use their gifts in practical ways by giving people who have fallen into hard times a way out. We believe that being uninsured does not have to be a cause for despair but can be an opportunity for others to reach out and help.

Our Mission Statement

"The Zarephath Health Center provides free health-care to the poor and uninsured. The World Health Organization defines 'health' as a state of physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Our goal is to work on all three levels."

Introducing the Acts 4 Project

With all the controversy swirling around health care reform, maybe the answer is right in our own neighborhoods--in our own churches. Health insurance premiums are out of sight. People are losing their jobs and their coverage. Frustration, anger, and insecurity are everywhere. Acts 4, written 2000 years ago, has the best solution.
